What is an Entrecard?
You may have noticed the little widget in the upper right hand corner of my blog and have wondered what it is. Entrecard is an addicting new concept that ables bloggers to network with eachother, show themselves to more readers, and obtain advertising on other blogs for free.
How exactly does it work?
When you sign up for entrecard and add the code to display the badge, other people who are also members can click and “leave their calling card.” It shows up in your dashboard. The more people who leave their calling card, the more credits you get. You also get credits for dropping your card on the blogs of others. The more people that you drop cards on, the more likely you are to receive cards.
How does someone else’s card appear on your site? The more people who drop their cards on you, the more credits they will need to advertise on your site. Their card appears featured on your site for one day if you approve. In exchange, you will get credits back in your account to advertise on the blogs of others or to buy cool stuff. You can also buy things like Entrecard stickers, neat things offered by members such as a custom “button” graphic or a site evaluation for you.
Today I am being featured on Life and Lawns, where Allyn has found the world’s dirtiest keyboard. And I thought mine was bad!
