That’s wonderful news, Terik. I will have to check what those new laws are. However, I also think I remember a law in PA that will do a good job with making things harder for puppymillers, but at the same time, may make it difficult for legitimate foster homes that have multiple dogs. I knew a few people in PA who were very worried.

maybe if they chained the owner to the dog box maybe he would think before he did this again to a helples animal. but you know some people dont have any fealing about what they do or no concince at all.

We hold onto our humanity by our connection with all living things. To deny it. To allow suffering is to diminsh ourselves and give license to a form of abstration that actually makes us the only important ones. It is really crystalized isolation. I sit by the window with one of my cats. We celebrate your efforts. Cruelity is common everywhere. To be human is to identify it. There have been a myriad of laws in place that have subjugated women , children ,people of differnt colour, and race to horrible conditons. To anthropomorphize may not be so wrong when we hardly know ourselves. May God bless you and the animals

I can’t believe I’ve never heard anything about this before, but that goes to show you that there hasn’t been ‘that’ much attention drawn to yourself. I hope that I have the courage if I ever find myself in your situation to behave as stoically as you do in the face of the people in the suits saying you are the bad guy!

“People are dogs too”?!? People who need help usually get it (not always, so that needs sorting out too), dogs that need help…

I will pray for your success in court. I too have been helping starved, chained and neglected dogs that belong to my landlords children. I have bought food for them and made them shelters in the 7 years that I have rented from him. I cannot get the help of the local humane society or police. I have to be careful so I don’t lose my home. No one will help me but I could not walk by the succession of animals all these years and see them suffer. I sincerely hope you are able to get the law to see the injustice of these unending animal cruelties.
