Skin Care on the Radio
In my last post, I mentioned the reluctance I have to not toot my own horn, or not even let anyone know I own one. I really think a lot of it goes back to my very visible eye problems when I was a kid, and my skin problems as a young adult. I didn’t have acne like most teens, but had dermatitis all my life. It was to the oint where my mom had to wash my hair with hand soap because shampoo was too harsh. My hair, of course, felt like straw, but at least my skin didn’t irritate more. Usually, in my adult life a few good days were followed by a a week of bad, where I almost didn’t want to go out in public. Skin care has always been important to me, but I always struggle to find things that I can do that won’t irritate my skin even more.
I found that there is a weekly radio podcast through WorldTalkRadio.com, Skin Health Today that tackles subjects that have been on our minds. What’s more, is that you can surf onto their blog and make suggestions of points you would like them to address or questions you would like them to answer for you. The show is new every Thursday. Today, the topic is cellulite, where tips and lifestyle pointers will be suggested. I am always interested in learning if there are lifestyle, versus chemical alternatives to the skin conditions I or anyone else worries about.
Next week, I will also tune in because the topic is on how we are creative chemically reactive skin sensitivities with all of the products we use. It is definitely worth bookmarking. I will register for the email list as well so I don’t forget!
Luckily, I found some solutions to my skin issues that are cruelty free, but I am always interested in learning more to move beyond the quick fix.
