We have a throw away society and the living beings that live with us are not safe from this. My dogs are my family, my kids, and I would never give them up. I would move first if I had to, to keep them all. I have been involved in rescue, and have fostered, for over 10 years. It is heart braking. I have done a small part, but I get overwhelmed myself at how awful the situation is. Is it getting better?
