Someday, we will get an RV
Our wedding anniversary is coming up next week. I was just thinking about our first “date,” which was twelve years ago. Believe it our not, it didn’t involve a dinner and a movie. It actually involved a Motorhomes. Yes, he rented an RV for a weekend, thinking it was a fun thing to do. It was! I would have to explain that we had a long distance relationship, and we found the best way to know if it was something solid was to ditch the formality and go on an adventure. We drove up to the mountains, we took the RV just to get ice cream in a congested city, and saw much wildlife. We just cut to the chase and found out that we get along quite well. Nothing shows what a person is really like if they can’t deal with a little weather or detour.
Sometimes, I admit that my husband thinks of selling the house someday and living across the country with our dogs. Since we are decades away from retirement, reality sets in about those pesky things like work. I scrolled around RVs.com and I never imagined that there is something for every price range. I am so used to seeing the million dollar models they show on tv. Granted, depending on your budget, you may have to tow a travel trailor instead of driving a big RV, but just about everyone can afford a life on the road it seems. I may not be ready for it to be permanent, but part time might be nice.
