Brittany Spaniel Seeks an Angel
This sweet Brittany Spaniel really needs an angel. She came to the shelter unable to walk. The situation is thankfully temporary. The poor sweet girl suffers from tick paralysis. She had so many ticks on her that she yelped in pain and bled with each one that was pulled off of her. She is standing, finally, a little bit now, but was unable to use her legs when she first came in. We need a rescue to take her on and get her out of the shelter, or an adopter that loves Brittany Spaniels and is prepared for the little extra care she is going to need up front. She is a young gal with many years of loyal companionship before her. She is not listed on Petfinder, and has only through Friday for someone to express interest in her.
Myself and another volunteer have been contacting various breed rescues with no responses as of yet.
