Carpal Tunnel: A Blogging Side Effect
I have been on the computer two days straight trying to find rescues for the dogs and cats at the shelter. I just think that if I send one more email, it would make a difference. Sometimes, my hands end up just wanted to curl in on themselves and just can’t move. I really need to get checked for carpal tunnel. When I worked as an executive assistant, it was downright crippling. Aspirin didn’t work. It took away the pain, but my muscles still wouldn’t relax.
There are actually a few products out there to alleviate the symptoms and to give you some carpal tunnel relief, as well as to protect your hands and wrists. IMAK makes several variations of a carpal tunnel glove. When I have seen similar products in the past, I wondered how they worked. They increase circulation, but they actually hold your wrist in a more correct position, which is key. You need not have had to go through carpal tunnel surgery to use them. They can be preventative and can also be used to alleviate arthritis pain. For just about 20 bucks a glove, it really is a wise investment to maintaining your health.
I think ever blogger needs one. Or ten.

Yeh I’ve seen people wearing that glove pretty often. My technique is just not to try and have my wrist veins pressed against any hard object when I’m at home. At work I have this nice foamy squishy thing that I rest it upon since I’m on the comp the whole time I’m there usually.
