Promise Yourself
As the old saying goes, we can’t truly help or love others until we help or love ourselves, or it was something like that. Nowadays, sorting through ones hurts and hangups are not as taboo as they once were and centers like Promises are taking drug rehab in a different direction. It was once seen as a process where someone was locked up in a hospital and “cured,” or not.
On the contrary, these new types of centers feature a comfortable environment where someone can take a “break,” and get the counseling and physical support they need. Promises just has two centers in areas that would seem to cater to celebrities or those with major funds, but they cater to all walks of life. More importantly, the trickle down effect in styles that work is being adopted by centers and counselors nationwide to create a welcoming situation where it is no longer taboo to ask for help.

It is very important to help your friends that are having trouble with drugs addiction. While it can be annoying and likely will require persistence on your part. If you show you care that can help them care about getting themselves better.
