Blind but Kind: Jack Needs a Home
Jake is a Catahoula Leopard dog mix who grew up on a California Vineyard with plenty of room to roam. His family lost the vineyard and had to start over. Unfortunately they could no longer take care of Jake. Jake is waiting for a new special family. He is a sweet dog, but needs to be the only dog in the family as he can get jealous of other dogs or can become bossy. Otherwise, he is the perfect pal and would love to go on walks or hikes with you. He needs a family that has their yard/property fenced. As he is deaf, he might not recognize the warning sound of a car, and also can’t hear you call him. Deaf dogs make wonderful companions. You should give it a try.
Jake is located in Minnesota and is living at a Dog Day Care until a special person or family comes along. Although he is no danger of being euthanized, not having a permanent family is not good for a dog like him.
