		<description>That is a great story.  It is not hard to believe your mother giving you such a hard time over a single story.  I remember my mother telling me all these stories and warning me about dogs and cats.  The only thing I learned from the stories was not to compare apples to oranges.

It is good to hear you take your dog to a check-up at least once a year.  And do not stop showing love to him/her (licking the face).  And if by some very small remote chance you do end up with tapeworms, there are plenty of over-the-counter and  prescription medications that can cure them.
