Sling Some Babies for The Next Auction

I really find it hard to believe that the guy at left is the baby’s father.  He is definitely a model, posing with a model baby, as he lacks any dark circle under his eyes from lack of sleep, a five o’clock (A.M.) shadow from not having any second to shave, and doesn’t have baby spit up on him.  I do not have children of my own, but know enough parents to know that my assessment is accurate.

The photo seems to imply that you an unobtainably handsome man will want to marry you so he can finally use one of these baby slings so you have to buy the sling.  More likely, it is probably a scene my brother would have enacted before he met his girlfriend.  He used to take the family dog to the park when he was a pup, so that it would be an icebreaker for women to come up to him.  A baby would be even better.  Sure, he might scare off some women thinking that he is happily married, but there will probably be a few who like the idea of a caring uncle who thinks its cool to hang out with babies.

All kidding a side, baby slings are great ideas to donate to auctions that benefit children’s charities as a moderate ticket item, because they are something that can be used everyday but is a lot less boring than more diapers and onesies. You could order one in a themed fabric as well. There is one style called the moby wrap that basically makes you and a baby look like two parts of the same mummy. If those were invented when I was twelve, I probably would not have dropped my little sister on her butt when someone distracted me. One of my uncles told me something was stuck to my rear end, and I wheeled around and put my hands on my butt to see, and in the process dropped her on her rear. It turned out to be a sticker one of my cousins had put there, or had put on my chair so it would stick on me. Hopefully, Sis was too young at 1 or 2 to remember that.

  1. I love that sling. It looks really cool and un-parental.

  2. Yeah, it looks like “hey, dude, I’m just hanging out with a baby. This isn’t a sling. It’s a shirt that was under my bed. I cut it up. Popped the baby in it.”
