I have been in the habit of looking for the paper for coupons. The ones I don’t use, and the item is apropriate, I see if I can save it for my favorite groups. I check to see if a local rescue can use dog food coupons to either use to purchase items for the rescue, or give to families they are working with. Some rescues have programs where they counsel people in keeping their pets through a temporary money loss, and it might help someone get a discount. Also, cleaning supply coupons may work for a group who sets up families in homes after upheaval.
Lately, I haven’t been able to find as many in the paper, so I look on line. There is an Easy Coupon Search online that provides all sorts of discounts and rebates. The site doesn’t have many grocery coupons, but has discounts for retailers that offer goods online. For example, right now there are Overstock Coupons that give you free shipping if you are a new customer, and you spend $50 or more. There is another code that will give you unlimited flat rate shipping for $2.95. Some of the discounts are offered sitewide at the time to customers without having to go to the coupon site, but it certainly helps being able to see all the deals up front. I have surfed various sites here and there and the most frustrating thing is that if you don’t land on the correct page, you may never see the discount offer. Problem solved.
Some other good ones are discounts from Pet Food Direct. There are coupon codes on Ezcouponsearch.com that are for 10% off an entire order or $5.00. There are also coupon codes for differing purchase amounts. This could definitely come in handy when you are watching the bottom line. Sometimes, website visitors comment about what codes are still valid beyond their original expiration date, so fish around and you might just find some additional deals.

There’s absolutely no reason not to use coupons. I’ve become very fond of them, especially lately with prices in the grocery skyrocketing. Why wouldn’t you use coupons, its like free money!
