Learn Martial Arts at Home…Just in Case

I guess I should really look into taking some boxing lessons. The reason I should, was clearly layed out to me in a very informative site about martial arts expert, and professional Texas Ranger Chuck Norris. Here are three facts from a vast library of information:
1) When Chuck Norris does a pushup, he isn’t lifting himself up, he’s pushing the Earth down.
2) The Great Wall of China was originally created to keep Chuck Norris out. It failed miserably.
3) Chuck Norris can hit you so hard that he can actually alter your DNA. Decades from now your descendants will occasionally clutch their heads and yell “What The Hell was That?”
Being on the same planet with Chuck Norris, I just don’t know what I would do if I crossed paths with him. Perhaps he would be a gentleman towards a lady, as he is a “man’s man.” You would just never know until you crossed paths with him, would you? Afterall, you have to sleep with one eye open, because, as they say, Chuck Norris doesn’t sleep. He waits.
I think i am right in my thinking that I better be prepared. There is a website filled with instructional videos, photos, and articles about the various forms of Martial Arts. It is called MartialArtsTutor.com. Though the videos cannot instill discipline in you, they sure can help you explore and decide what you might like to sign up for in your neighborhood. Once you get started, the videos are great for improving your form.
I took karate lessons in college, before I met friends who were into Tai Chi. All I remember was that my instructor had really smelly feet and didn’t wear socks. I don’t actually think it was his feet, looking back. I think it was the infrequency of the cleaning of the gym. For those of you with that issue, learning from home is a great option. You can do it late at night when no one is around but infommercial hosts. For me, I might watch and see if it jogs any solid memories about actual form and function. It will also be a great help to me, in the event that Ninjas move into the neighborhood.
