For the past few days, participating Etsy sellers have been donating 20% of their sales to Saving Shelter Pets, Inc.  The money will specifically earmarked to assist with a “Trap/Neuter/Release” program for feral cats.  By trapping them, spaying or neutering them, and giving them their necessary shots, the colony of cats will stay healthy, reduce any negative impact on the neighborhood, and will eventually dwindle in number.  In the past, people have relocated feral cats, which just causes others to move in.   Doing nothing just creates a boom in population.
