When you have a wedding amid the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, a lot of extra clutter is created. The wedding favor containers for the wedding chocolates cannot be the same as the Christmas chocolates you gave out, as it would either spoil the big reveal at the wedding or it would look like you didn’t have any other creative ideas.

Surely, you can use some of those little boxes, gauzy bags and porcelain boxes in a few years when guests forget what they looked like, but they will sit for awhile.

Consider donating them. A charity auction might need small containers to dress up gift cards or other trinkets that are auctioned off, or may appreciate you making some candies to add to those extra bags to place at guest’s seats to make the auction feel ritzy.

Some trinket bags can also be used to dress up small personal items and make them more discreet when giving them to a young girl at a homeless shelter, too.

Before donating the items, make sure your donation is welcome. Better yet, volunteer to collect other decorations and spearhead a use for them yourself.
